May 14th and 15th 2011 – workshop at Black Swan Arts Centre, Frome
Students came for 1 and 2 days – my returning student Anne (her 4th course with me) is coming on in leaps and bounds. She came for one day and got quite a long way with her lovely textural fish below. Beginner, Erin, successfully cut tapered shapes for the curve of the nine (and in that hard gold flecked glass tile, it is no mean feat!) and beginner Gayle chose to make this pretty lily with graduating colours.
The coasters are made at the beginning of the course just to get the feel of the material . The coaster bottom right is my daughters. She often comes to my workshops – I’ll post a pic soon of all her pieces (if she agrees)!
Apologies to you all – the photo doesn’t do the work justice!
